While Jaguars Expect To Sign Nick Foles, Blake Bortles'
The deal includes $50.125 million in guaranteed money, a source tells AdamSchefter. It looks like Nick Foles will be sporting black and teal colors in 2019. According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rappaport, the 30-year-old is expected to ink a four-year, $88 million deal with $50 million guaranteed. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo said on Monday that Foles could make up to $102 million with incentives. The official start of the NFL 2019 League Year begins on Wednesday. The Eagles exercised the team option on Foles last month and he opted out of his contract by paying the team $2 million. Philadelphia did not give Foles the franchise-tag. Meanwhile there is speculation that the Jaguars could release quarterback Blake Bortles when they sign Foles. Bortles is due to receive a $1 million dollar bonus on March 19, 2019.
